could I be pg???
I dont really know where to post this. sorry if this isn't the right place?
Anyhow, My dd is almost a year old now, and I got AF back when she was 9mos old. I had AF twice, at about a normal sort of cycle timing, had the fcm at abotu the midpoint and everything. Then, I havn't had AF since that second one in Jan. I had some streaky spotty stuff that I thought was AF starting but was not, it was just a one-day thing. Now I am starting to question... could I be pg? IS this a normal thing? What is up? Reasons I might think its not a pg; we use "raincoats"
... and dd was sick with the stomach flu last month and was exclusively nursing for almost a week.

Sigh...

So, should I go get me a stick to wee on, or is this a normal thing?

Totally normal. When you are breastfeeding then it could throw a lot 'stuff' off. Like you might be having lighter periods. You might be having anovulantory bleeding (periods without ovulating) You might have short lutal phase. You might have really long cycles, you might have short cycles. AND...you might skip some cycles. Etc etc.

there is just no telling. That is why charting is so nifty. It can answer so many questions when your cycles are all weird.

BUT....
you also could be pregnant.

thanks!
Thats the wierd thing, the two AFs I had were at a totally normal interval, totally seemed like pre-baby, everything was the same (ugh.) and then that light little deal, and then nothing. So odd.

Can you chart without temping every AM? Not something I think possible while cosleeping with a rowdy 1yr old that wants to jump off the bed and go eat first thing...

a lot of people have said yes...but my temps are all messed up. I think it is because I rarely (if ever) get 3hours consecutive sleep and never wake up at the same time.
