So does anyone know if it is possible to get pregnant with an iud?

Feeling very icky... crampy...spotting... puking...moody (more than
usual). Also Conor is having issues nursing. He latched on and then gets a taste and pops off like he hates it. He will nurse when he is truly hungry so I am not worried about him...yet

Please tell me I am just sick...and let it be true!!

I remember reading that someone's relative had a baby and it was born clutching the iud in it's fist

So when I started the pukies I got worried... I don't throw up easily unless I am pregnant.

AAAAAARRRGGGH!

Have to agree, it is very possible that you could be pregnant. When I worked for an ob, we literally had at least one patient every month or so come in pregnant with an iud in place.

So did you get pregnant with the IUD in place? I notice you are expecting, but that is more thn 9 months from your post... just wondering because I'm thinking of getting an IUD, but I'm pretty fertile, so if it happens (getting PG w/ IUD), I suppose it would happen to me...

Nope... I didn't get pregnant with the IUD in place.
HOWEVER! The IUD was placed improperly and was imbedded in the wall of my uterus the entire time. About 9 months!
That is what was causing me to feel so bad.
I had it removed (*OW*)... and 2 weeks later I was pregnant!!!!!

Good luck making your decision!
I don't know if I will try it again.
