Alright... I've been patiently awaiting for the arrival of our washer & dryer, sadly enough, I'm not too sure when it's coming. *sigh* Sooo... My question is, is it possible to still CD without them? We live in an apartment complex so we do have washer and dryers here to use... for a pretty penny. And we're washing practically every day & we honestly are not able to afford the cost of each wash and each dry... and we can't hang dry them (which I'm missing oh so much right now ).

So has anyone here hand washed their diapers? And just let them dry on their own? I may be able to get them dryed each time... but it's uncertain until that time comes, KWIM?

TY for any responses

No friends nearby where you can wash the dipes?
Move up here, I'll wash your dipes! :LOL

What about handwashing the peepee dipes and machine washing the poos?

What about getting a drying rack for your apartment and only using the dryer to un-crisp the dipes?

I hope your washer and dryer show up soon!!

My DH's mom offered, but sometimes I feel bad because it's causing their water bill to go up. I guess I should just take up on her offering, LOL.

I'd get more prefolds so you can go longer between washes, wash at a friend's or rellie's home and dry at home on a drying rack or something inside. We cded dryerless for a long time, I often washed in the evening then strung dipes all over the house (on the backs of chairs or anything that looked convenient) after my family was put to bed at night.
