well, I just got my custom order of 6 organic short velour inner & outer loveybums, and they are DELICIOUS. I absolutely, positively, haven't ever felt anything as nice as these dipes in my life <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"> I wish I could wear them. It wears really well, I have a pretty old OV loveybums that looks great. Again, IT'S SO SOFT! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><br><br>
So if it's a love/hate relationship, I'm def. in love!

We use them for our nighttime diapers. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

The hemp fleece and jersey are 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">

I love it! I have quite a few OC/OV diapers and I find them just as absorbant for us and not bulky at all. They are usually the diapers I reach for first

My organic cotton fitteds from Valor Kids are the most absorbant fitteds we own! They're soft and trim too. I used to have a organic long velour mammamade that was super absorbant also. I love love love OC/OV and haven't bought many hemp dipes since I started loving it. Hemp gets too stiff and of course, the stink factor.

I think the absorbancy varies--some of my OC are as absorbant as my hemp--others are not at all! I like it because I'm terrified of hemp stink--and some is softer than others but even my "roughest" oc is softer than my hemp.

good to know VKs are so absorbant! We need that. I have an oc/ov custom in the works. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><br><br>
I just wish thar ov would arrive already! We are down to a minimum stash since dd is busting out! (I had to size u p my VKs to meds....at 8wks she's at *least* 10 lbs if not more)<br><br>
baaaaaaad time of year to need dipes. there are several stores on the oc list ( <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"> to the mamas who did that), that are closed and one reply was she was backed up. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/mecry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="crying">

LOVE our organic cotton. Have not had a chance to try organic velour but may be able to with our Elbee order, a long long long time away...<br><br>
I much prefer OC to hemp, it's so much softer and has more "give". I find it to be just as absorbent, if not more, than hemp... don't know why all the fuss with hemp's absorbency... I'm actually getting not to like it as much, although our precious RB FLAGs are hemp and I can't give those up. Hope she introduces OC eventually!

our OC/OV dipes are awesome in every way! no stink, very soft, very absorbant. if i HAD to list any negatives i'd say maybe only that i find any cotton item to shrink a bit more than hemp, and possibly attract any dyes that might bleed more than other fabrics (i say this having just noticed a few red spots on some of my OC/OV dipes this washload...they didn't come that way and i most likely threw in something red. but it's not anything i can't fix). anyway, it's not like shrinkage is excatly a negative...it's to be expected w/any cotton fabric, IMO. i just wash/dry accordingly.<br><br>
you don't hear negative stuff about OC/OV because they ROCK!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love">

I love our OC and OV dipes! They are definitely the favorite ones in our stash. The OC is so soft, and the OV is, as one of my friends put it, decadent <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/FIREdevil.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="devil"> . And no stink. Big thumbs up here for all OC and OV dipes!

seems like OV, in particular is taking off! Seems like more and more WAHMs are offering it. I appreciate them listening. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"> There are some WAHMs offering it in the future too! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">
