Because they look thin, so I am wondering if one is enough to stuff in there. I have heard some of you put up to 3 Joey Bunz in pockets for night-time.

For daytime, is one enough? And for night time?

THANKS

I also put them in the washer and dryer once, then boiled them for 20 minutes, and now in the washer and dryer again. Are they ready to be used?

for the most part during the day, we've used just one in a FB. Now there were a few occasions when he was cluster nursing and wet a lot more, then we uped it to two JBs. At night, we got away w/2 for some time, but in abt the last month we've had to go to 3 JBs in our Fuzzibunz.
Sounds like you've washed them pretty well, maybe one or two more washes, w/Dawn wouldnt hurt.

We usually use one jb in a FB for daytime. They're mostly daddy diapers, so I don't use them that much anymore. But, early in the morning ds seems to flood pee, so I usually stuff with two (if it's the first diaper of the day). At night, we've been having good luck with 3. For a while we could get by with 2 at night, but in the past month or so ds has started gushing pee! I'm not sure how this applies to HH though. You do want to be careful not to overstuff.

I have a light/medium wetter but I think she's a lot younger (6m) and I can get at least 3 hrs out of one jb during the day. At night I use a jb and a doubler (2 layer hemp fleece from caleb's corner) or a jb and a microterry towel. I use the doublers in the morning and during the day if I'll be out a long time.

If I overstuff it sometimes seems that the microfleece/elastic leg casings get sort of stretched out flat and then if DS is lying the wrong way his pee runs right out the leg holes before it can be absorbed by the insert. I have actually been wondering if other people have good luck stuffing 3 medium JB into a medium FB because for us it's not a good fit. But I bought all my JB used and some are significantly narrower than others. If I can round up 3 of the narrowest ones at night-time it works out pretty well, but 3 of the wide ones are a disaster in making. I'm actually kind of ready to try a different stuffer for night-time, if anyone has any suggestions.

To answer the OP, 1 JB is always enough for us in the daytime, even if it ends up being 4-5 hours between changes :, which it sometimes is if we're out running around (unless DS is poopy I don't change him on a public restroom changing table).

Yes, we do have good luck stuffing 3 medium JBs into a medium FB. I've found that I can't stuff 3 infant CPFs without causing leaks. Things we've tried that work well include 2 infants CPFs, and a CPF wrapped around 1 or 2 JBs, and of course various numbers of JBs.

FWIW, overstuffing can cause leaks, because the legs of the diaper don't fit correctly, and ds can pee straight out the side. This has only happened to us once. It was a VERY overstuffed diaper, and he was sleeping on his side.
