I can't get this name out of my head...our ds is Lucas & I think it would go well with that. But Dylan ranks pretty high on popularity charts. Thing is, I know a lot of kids and don't know any Dylans. Is it popular where you live?

very popular for both girls and boys here. in fact, i just read this week in newsweek how there are a ton of dylans running around ever since 90210...BUT....i believe in going with what you love, despite popularity!!!

"Too" popular is a relative term. It is popular, yes. But whether or not it's too popular is entirely up to you.

I know some around here, but not a ton. More like I hear about them sometimes.I guess it depends on how popular is too popular for you, it's on the charts but i don't think it's too high up there.

All the Dylans I've met/heard of were named after the poet or the singer, not the show. Unless nobody admits it.

not terribly popular here, but I'm hearing it for girls now. I had it on my short list before my oldest dd was born.
