With our 2 kids we have used AO for them RF. It was aweful. My DH could never drive because he couldn't put the seat back far enough.
Is the tru fit really better for RF like that?

Once kids have good head control the seat can be installed more upright. At that point you will have more room for the front seats.

For newborns, the TF can be installed without the headrest, and takes up alot less room RF'ing. Then at 22 pounds (or when the baby's head reaches the line at the top of the seat) you put the headrest back on. At that point you can install it more upright, and you should have plenty of room.
