I've been buying Morningstar Farms frozen Chik Patties, Buffalo Wings, Breakfast Sausage, Black Bean Burgers, etc and just assumed that were ok. Well, I finally read the labels yesterday and discovered that they have partially hydrongenated soybean oil, high fructose cornsyrup, artifical flavors and more junk.
I'm a terrible cook (something I'm working on - dh is a chef, but he's not home for lunch or dinner). Is there a vegetarian brand that is all natural? I don't just want a meat substitute, I want something heathly.

Does anyone have a recipe for homemade veggie burgers? Then I could have dh make a batch and freeze them.

TIA!

The "Ultimate Veggie Burger" recipe in "Vegan Planet" is really good, natural, and freezes/reheats/grills well.

Our co-op also has veggie patties in thier deli that are quite good and natural. But I prefer to make my own since then I know that the ingredients are natural, organic, and healthy.
