Your coffee will be like dishwater. The coffee goodness all comes out in the first extraction. Teas can be re-infused, esp. the Chinese green and oolong teas.

The best use for used grounds is adding them to your compost bucket. The garden likes them!

and if you dont drink the whole pot of coffee you can add the leftover coffee to your houseplant watering can. OMG you dont need any fertilizer with that stuff. My plants thrived on coffee water.

Yeah, that's about what I was thinking.


Oh well. I do have a philodendron that's looking a little sad, though!

It depends on if you can tolerate it. dh thinks its absolutely disgusting but I put in some much creamer I can't tell. It would help if you used really high quality beans to start with.
