Please help an inexperienced-with-wool mama. I just got a beautiful new soaker for my dd. But it's kind of big for her. Is there any way to shrink it just a little or would I be pushing my luck to try that? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Jill

You can TRY to felt it a tad but felting can be tricky - you may end up with an uneven soaker. Height felts more/wuicker than width. I have put a soaker in the dryer to lightly felt it, checking every minute or so :LOL

Yeah, things tend to shrink lengthwise first. You could also make sure it is slightly damp first, and maybe take it out every minute or so and stretch it?Maybe that would help it felt more evely?I dunno.

In my experience, things felt quicker when wet.
