I was thinking mama's w/ 1 child to be paired together
mama's w/ 2 children paired together etc..... then you buy for each child and send one big package. Each child gets their own "present'....

I don't think this would work very well, unless Mamas are paired with children of the same age & gender, and then you would run into probably already having the same toys anyway.

I'm *assuming* that it's a "buy or make something" exchange.
If it is, then I'm in!

It could be NEW, Handmade, or Used- depending on your ISO lists. I was thinking of making a small Qinaire and then have ya'll fill it out w/ links to items you would want- and if used items are okay. I am going to put a bunch of ebay links to items I want and some from toys r us- so people can get a feel for the items I want- but used are fine by us!

How about a children's book exchange instead of toys?

(If everyone else's children are like mine, they have way more toys than they can ever play with anyway)....

I coordinated a book exchange on a board that I was on last year.

I had each Mama fill out a questionnaire that listed her child/ren ages, their likes/dislikes, and what book "level" they were at....boardbook, first readers, chapter books, etc.

It was a HUGE success!

Just an idea.
