My SIL is pg and was wondering if there is anything she can take to help her sleep. Some kind of tea maybe? She is in her first tri.

Warm milk really can help as it has tryptophan in it which makes us sleepy.

Also eating before bed can help one stay asleep as sometimes we wake up because our blood sugar is low, but we aren't detecting it with a hunger signal.

I would recommend having a good wind-down at night with little stimulation, so no tv, a bath, and a real routine so that the body can know it is time for sleep.
