...I can't seem to find them. I've found 12" addi turbos, but I prefer bamboo.

Any help you wonderful fellow knitters can give me is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Wish I could help but I have never seen any...

I'm being nosy () but why would you want 12"? I think knitting with 16" are already kinda difficult to manipulate. You could just use 2 circs for your project; this is kinda pricey but an easy solution. I would use dpns (but I'm guessing that, like a lot of knitters, you hate those ).

I was told that I can use 12" circs instead of dpn's to make socks.

Thanks for your replies.
Guess I'm gonna have to go with the addi turbos.

...and just what exactly is this "magic loop" I keep reading about?

Magic loop is awesome! You use a really long circ, like 32-40", and you can so small circumferance with it. Here's a link:

http://www.az.com/~andrade/knit/mloop.html

I like the magic loop. Well, once I saw the woman at the lys show me how to do it. It's really easy.
I use that when I'm knitting something w/my Denise needles. No changing needles, I just switch to 2 long cables.
Otherwise, (like right now since I'm knitting armwarmers) I just use the dpns.

But definately try the magic loop. I would think it's easier than 12 in circs.

What about just using 2 circulars together? That's what I do for socks or other small circumfirences. I find it easier than magic loop (which I only tried once) and you can even use two differing lengths of circulars.

I use magic loop alot, but I really prefer to use 12"circs for pant legs. There is also something called sock circulars that are like 8". I just got a pair in size 10. I had never even heard of these until Stell, of F&F, mentioned them. I got mine from Morwenna. Her LYS carries them. I've never even seen them online, but they're Clover brand and they're plastic.

Back to your original question. I've only seen 12" circs in Addi's (which I believe are nickel).

Last I heard, Morwenna still had one pair from the run she did for everyone.

http://woolywonder.com/forums/viewto...ghlight=#26692
