I tried googling this, My 3 and 20 month old LOVE fruit, and eat alot of it, they also eat cooked veggies at every meal, the only veggie they'll eat raw is tomatos. They usually eat alot of grapes, stawberries, mangos, pears, apples throughout the day. Is the sugar in these bad for them, in large amounts??

Before I stopped seeing our ped I had brought my daughter in because she has chronic diarrhea. She told me we were "too healthy" and it was the fruit.

I think it CAN happen with certain fruits (grapes being one of them, for my kids at least) but I don't believe that too much fruit is unhealthy.

I could be wrong, though!

I think a huge binge on fruit is more likely to cause trouble in someone unused to it than it is to be a problem in a person who regularly eats a lot of fruit.

It is high in sugar though, so brush your teeth.
