I saw this on ebay and am thinking the buy it now price is pretty good, what do you think?

the other wood one I wanted was like $260 for the kitchen...picking a nice wood kitchen is hard..I emailed them and they said if Ibought it soon they would send me one without damage...argh

It's hard to tell. It looks like some of those really pricey Waldorf style ones. If it is, then its a great deal. If its not, then Id say no. But I'd much rather pay that price and have it last through all of our dc than to have to buy a new kitchen every 2 years, yk? If you do look around some more, just try to get a hardwood one. Not pressed board or mdf, it really doesn't stand up to a toddler beating!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

I have the one from <a href="http://www.rosiehippo.com/categorysubdept.asp?deptid=4&subdeptid=402" target="_blank">Rosie Hippo</a>, so add that and a fridge and it seems like a good deal...however, I actually received mine from my local Freecycle list. So, it was free. Have you tried Freecycle?? Or, Craigslist?? You never know...

I wonder if they can give me more information on it because if its the real deal its a god price. The shipping is going to be $50 man I wish I could ask her dad..hmm

I would want to see it live and in person. It is real hard to judge quality from those pictures. I got a maple one for DS at a garage sale, it was made by a craftsman in Vermont. I would look for a local craftsman, so you could touch it and see how smooth it is, smell it to make sure the wood isn't treated, check the joins, etc.
