I was thinking of Kerry, and the criticism he's receiving for being the ketchup man.

I came up with "Spill ketchup, not oil" and "spill ketchup, not blood" and I thought I was being amazingly clever.

Please, no debating the spelling of ketchup. It is obviously not catsup.

Did I miss a news story or something? Did Kerry choke on ketchup or something? (Silly back-reference to Bush's choking on a pretzel, sorry, not funny ...)

Or maybe that Kerry is ketchup to Edward's Grey Poupon?

:LOL

But seriously ... clever. Cute. Amazingly ... no. But clever, yes.

Now just wish I understood the reference.

doesn't mean that you actually are. I change my registration all the time depending on what primary is coming up. I never vote to sabotage but rather I vote for the candidates I like. I voted in the Repubilcan primary 4 years ago for McCain because I found Bush to be scary and because I like McCain. I then ended up voting for Gore in the election.

speaking of wives who change attitudes to support their husbands... there's always Maria Shriver.

No pie, that is wrong.

Teresa Kerry married INTO the Heinz family, her first husband died and they had three children together and the oldest who *is* the heir is working for Kerry's campaign.

Sort of related: y'all remember the Reagan administration, when ketchup was declared a "vegetable" for the school lunch program? Yep, they serve your kid fries and ketchup, and get to count that they served them two "vegetables."
