They are handy. I probably have 4 dozen in my kitchen<br>
Make a decent diaper doubler in a pinch too. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

Yes, good deal. I have probably 3 dozen in my kitchen, and have reduced my paper towel usage to near zero. (It would be absolutely zero if I didn't make candles. I can't imagine trying to get wax out of my bar rags, so that's the only thing I use paper towels for anymore.)

I haven't used paper towels for years and years. I just make rags out of old clothes and towels that are stained or torn, and wash them whenever I do laundry. Any rags with really gross stuff on them (like dog diarrhea) just gets tossed. And it's freeeeeee.<br><br>
