I thought colostrum was yellow-ish and kind of thick.

Now I have something coming out -- not in any great amounts-- that's kind of clear and watery, like a sugar syrup. Is that normal? Anyone have an idea?

that's it. it ranges from clear to yellowish-white and is usually kinda sticky. my colostrum when pregnant with k was much more yellowish and this time around it's clear.

I've never had thick or dark colostrum, just white or clear and not sticky at all. I'm sure that's what it is.

I had milk until I weaned Cicely just a few weeks ago. Now, I have 100% colostrum. I miss my milk... and nursing my toddler.

But, it's pretty cool to just see that sticky clear stuff instead of wet white stuff.

Last time my colostrum was kind of swirly yellow/clear. This time it's only clear, and SUPER thick and sticky. It's like someone thickened olive oil. My breasts got engorged some months ago and I couldn't pump it it was so thick!
