This is my second pregnancy and I can only be about four weeks along at the most and I am already getting up in the middle of the night to pee!! I'm pretty sure with my first that this didn't happen until the second or third trimester.

Is anyone else already getting up in the middle of the night to pee? Is there anything I can do to help - I don't want to be getting up this early in pregnancy! I already limit my water intake a couple of hours before I go to bed but any other ideas would be helpful.

It is just something you are going to have to deal with. I hate to say it, but until that baby isnt putting pressure your bladder, you won't find much relief.

sorry to say

i know how frustrating it can be.

Me too-- I normally have to pee sometime in the night, but I'm up 2 or 3 times now at not-even-5 weeks. The constant peeing at this stage is hormonal, not growing-uterus-related (our embryos are only like 1/10" now). It should stop for a while at some point before picking up again once the babies are bigger.

Seriously annoying, though. I think I've peed about 10 times today.

I've been getting up once or twice every night to pee as well.

I'm glad I'm not alone. I'll just wait to see if I get a break between the hormones causing excessive peeing and the growth of the baby causing excessive peeing - lol

Yeah, especially when you factor in that we are supposed to drink more fluids and stuff when preggers.

{{and this being #6, my bladder has its issues anyways, lol )

Me too, me too..... I used to be able to sleep through the night with a very full bladder. Now I have been getting up at least once in the night, weird. Glad I'm not the only one!

I'm so with you - I'm peeing 1-2x an hour! To top if off, I can't drink enough water, I'm seriously always thirsty and have been keeping a glass of water with me at all times. Not much fun!!

I've had to pee so much I've had to use store & mall bathrooms which for me is just insane. I have some germaphobe tendencies and my balancing isn't quite what it was. This is #4 for me, so I don't have much hope in this alleviating.

I'm at work and have to walk by everyone's offices to get to the bathroom - it's totally obvious. I've been 3 times already and that's with sitting here at my desk until I'm miserable! This is tough - I'm not planning to tell anyone at work until sometime next year!
