Ok, my Ped told us at 3 months not to be surprised if DD got teeth early. I was surprised by this because I had NO teeth until 14 months. (My mom was afraid I'd be bald and toothless forever
) Around 5 months we could see a white spot that we assumed would be DD's first tooth arriving soon. Pass three months of gnawing on everything. DD has been really, really fussy and this morning I noticed that she now has a raised bump that is visible above the gumline, but it's not tooth that's broken through. It's raised gum - you can still see the tooth from above if that makes sense. Is this tooth coming in soon? The fussyness and disrupted sleep is driving us both nuts!

We were like that. I kept peeking in there and no teeth until one day I noticed she was scratching me nursing.

All I can say is that it's coming!

DH gave DD a toothbrush when her first tooth broke though. He said that she'd earned it.
