Our diaper pail (a trash can) is lined with a nylon laundry bag purchased from Target. When we take the bag out of the pail, the outside of the bag is wet (which makes for a fun time dumping it into the washer).

Are all pail-sized wetbags like that, or is it just because mine's cheap?

I have a MOE pail liner which is a big PUL bag basically and there is a bit of moisture when I take it out of the pail. It is like condensation or something.
It is hard to quantify how much water- however, it seems like if I brush my hand across the bag I feel moisture but my hand dries really quickly, if that makes sense.

I don't use a pail liner, I find it easier to rinse out the bucket. But I did have the same experience with moisture on the outside when I used cheap nylon bags from Target. I made some PUL wetbags for travel, and I don't have a moisture problem with them at all.

I have a wetbag from SewNappy and have had no problems with moisture on the outside. Sometimes it feels cool to the touch- I'm guessing from the moisture on the inside, but never wet or anything like that.

I had a Bummis pail liner and it did the same thing, then I got a pro-care/cotton outer zippered hanging pail from www.happytushies.com and I hang it off the edge of my changing table with an over door hanger I got from target. So it takes up a LOT less room, it look really nice, I have no pail to clean out, just toss it in the wash (I actually have 2 of them), and some how the zipper keeps even the worst stinkies out of the room better then any diaper pail I've owned. I LOVE mine, their wet bags are great for the diaper bag too!
