does anyone have one or a pair of these they would be willing to part with? they are so expensive new, and impossible to find used. if you have one you are donw with, and would be willing to sell it, i am looking to buy.
I have a set. I am useing them now. They work GREAT! I don't know if you have actually talked to anyone who has used them. To me they are well worth the money they cost. I won't be done with mine for several more months though. Good Luck with finding a pair.
Also if you get a pair and have trouble useing them at first let meknow. I had some trouble and had to slightly modify mine to work better for me.
A niplette is a small cup like device that is used to pull out inverted or flat nipples. It is a small nipple size suction cup with a tube with a one way valve so that a syringe can be used to make a suction on it to pull the nipple out. They come in a pair. That is a horrible description. You can Google it and it will pull up links for it and show you what it is.
hey, thanks for the endorsement! i had not heard form anyone who actually used them, so i was leary of spending the money. i guess we will have to pay full price.
If you have problems BFing because of flat or inverted nipples they will cure it. PERIOD. It takes time and useing them faithfully but it does fix it permanently and without any tissue damage. They have my full seal of approval.
what about an evert it that is advertised in "new beginnings" ?
i used niplette and did NOT find it to be a permanent solution; neither was nursing my child for over two years. once she weaned, nipples retracted again
If your nipples retracted after 2 years of nursing then I doubt any product will help to permanently fix them. I saw results within a week of starting use of the niplette and it hasn't retracted at all. I guess it depends on the person. The 10cc syringe is also a good idea. I had thought about that and then discarded it because i couldn't figure out a way to make it work without having a huge syringe hanging off my nipples all the time. I have gone out in public with my niplette and a breast shield over them.
yeah, i was unsure how the evert or a syringe would work to fix the problem before babe (i am in week 17 of pregnancy right now). i am planning to use the niplette now to fix the problem before the babe is even here - not to draw out the nipple before feedings.
Aja. They say only to use it the first 6 months of pregnancy. I assume due to nip stimulation causeing preterm labor. I am 20 weeks and i still use mine without any ctrx or even braxton hicks. Just ease into useing it. I would suggest 2 hours a day for a few days and then go up from there. They can be worn 8 hours a day and i have worn mine overnight under nip shields before. Just don't get in a hurry and put them on too tight...i did that and YOUCHY!!!
