Our carseat was recently stolen on a Greyhound trip. So we need to get one soon. My child is big (26 months and is 37inches tall and 37 pounds) so I am now looking for a seat for a larger child since our last one only went up to 40 pounds anyway. So I am looking for a Britax Marathon, Huskey, or Wizard. Also I would be interested in a Nania Airway Car Seat. As long as it's not too old, has not been recalled and has never been in any accidents, I don't mind if it's not pretty (meaning fading or stains on the material).

Anyone? anyone?

Thanks

Lauren

If you live in Nassau County, my mother could probably pick up the seat.

I have a Huskey that we are not using. I was going to put it on Ebay, but if you are interested I would sell it to you. It has barely been used. It may be missing the velcro pads on the straps. It is 2 years old but like I said, we did not use it much. Let me know.

I know it isn't cheap, but I got my Wizard for $204 shipped. Check at the car seat board on parentsplace.com. There's lots of techs there and they always know the cheapest place to buy. I went through ebates which gave me something like $14 back also. You might put an ISO there too. I usually would say don't buy used, but I'd feel safe buying from a CPS tech. You're right in looking for a higher weight harnessed seat for your son so he can stay harnessed as long as possible. Feel free to email me if you need help. I'm a CPS Tech in Iowa.
