I'm going to be taking a shopping trip to Portland next week and I'm in search of someplace that might sell one of those glass canning jars with the screw on plastic lids. I was hoping to get a couple of them to use as water bottles. Does anyone know of a place in Portland that sells these? Someone told me that they might be at an herbal supply place up there that starts with an 'M', but I forgot to write down the name. Any ideas?

Are you looking for those big one gallon jars? If so I think I know what store was recommended to you. Mojo's or something? It next door to the Trader Joes in SE 4715 S. E. 39th Avenue, those are sold for $5 with metal lids though.
I get my raw milk delivered in them with plastic lids. I can ask where they get them, so let me know if that is the size your looking for.

The ones that I am looking for are quart size. I'm not sure if Mojo's was the name. It could have been though. She said they have many different containers (lots of cobalt blue stuff).
