Or at least a neat stitch pattern.

I'm willing to pay, but I'm not willing to write my own pattern right now. I have a wool yarn to use and want some nice socks for me.

If you really love knitting socks I would HIGHLY recommend getting the book Sensational Knitted Socks. I got it at the beginning of the summer and am still drooling at all of the possibilities. There are hundreds of different ways to make socks in there, cables, fair isle, etc. The patterns give multiple guages for patterns so you can choose what size needles and what weight of yarn you like best. It also gives directions for 4 needle dpn, 5 needle dpn and the 2 circ method. The pair I am working on now is magic loop but it is really easy to work the differences out from 2 circ to magic loop in your head. I did switch to dpns for the heel flap and turn but that was just because it was easiest for me. I finished these not long ago and now I am working on these. I already am looking forward to making my next pair. Love this book, could not live without it. If you get it from overstock check here for codes.
