DS is ill for the fifth time in seven weeks. Our ped has done extensive testing, including for Celiac's disease (which was what she originally suspected), but with no clue as to what the underlying issue might be. My mama instincts tell me somthing is seriously wrong -- my baby should not be getting these "viral infections" that lead to fevers of 106+ every couple weeks -- and I want to get a second opinion ... and a third opinion ... and fourth, until we can figure out what is really going on here. I'd like to get that opinion from a naturopath/homeopath, but I can't seem to find one in this whole damn state! Please help!

If you are a naturpath/homeopath practicing in North Dakota, please PM me. If you know of one, please PM me. If you have any ideas you think might be useful in this situation, PLEASE PM ME!

Thanks!

this isn't local but they work over email and phone! Dr Leela is great, so I have been told. I haven't used her yet. I hope you can figure something out for your babe. Have you tried a chiropractor? Also are you supplementing w/ anything? Grapefruit seed extract and Garlic are great antivirals. Also acidophillus and EFA'S (oils) are good for the gut too. and if they gut is out of wack, which if he/she has been on antibiotics...that will weaken the immune system.

Check out this website to see if there is a certified Naturopathic Physcian in your area:
http://www.naturopathic.org/
some other type of physcians to try to locate if you can't find a naturopath or homeopath are osteopaths (sometimes they are into alternative medicine, although there are also an equal number that are basicly just regular MDs), also orthomolecular physcians. If there are any Chinese Medicine Practitioners that might be another avenue you might want to consider. Hopefully you can find an alternative medicine practitioner in your area. Good Luck
