Does anyone have a snap press (the one from www.thesnapstore.com) that they no longer use? i would love to buy it from someone!!
: me too?
I am conflicted about telling you my secret...

I don't own a snap press, but I set resin snaps all the time...

I use a drill press. The dies just fit right into the chuck, you use a vice to hold the bottom die, and voila!

So if you or your hubby has a drill press, you just have to buy the dies (~$48?) and snaps.

right now on www.wahmchicks.com theres ana wesome deal! Its the press, snaps and 16 and 20 die sets altogether! Its not my auction but I see that person on another board!
I e-mailed my dad about Lindsay's nifty idea, and he also recommended an Arbor Press from Harbor Freight ($30 on sale), which I'd already seen someone mention on MDC before. :LOL He also has another tool in his garage that might work, and I'll get to see it Friday. I'll let ya'll know how that goes. I really like the idea of spending $28 (+ $3.29 shipping) instead of $90 (+ $15 shipping). Especially since I'll mainly be making diapers for myself and friends (might sell some if I get good enough, but I'm a ways off from that yet!!! and I don't know when I'd get the TIME anyway). I can do Touch Tape as I've been doing, but I really like snaps better, plus I like AI2s with snap-in soakers.
