Hi there,

I'm due at the end of November, so I'm looking for a doula who can be there for a birth sometime between mid-november and mid-december. Tight budget, so I'd like to help somebody out with their certification in liue of $$$.

Planning on a birthing center birth. 2y.o. present with somebody to watch over her. husband present.

If you're interested, I'd like to hear a little bit about your experiene with birth and beliefs about birth, etc...

I did the DONA training myself, and remember searching out pregnant women, but I've had a remarkably difficult time finding training doulas now that I'm on the other end!

I think I may know of someone. I am a doula who used to live in northern va, and a friend of mine down there is working towards cappa certification. why don't you pm me your e-mail and phone, and I'll pass the info to her?

By the way, what birth center? I had my third at the Maternity Center in Bethesda. Loved it there!

If my friend can't help, maybe you adn I can talk. I live in soutern pa, so maaaaybe I could get there in time?!
