i just read a report (it was unsourced though) that they are claiming it was a "hizbollah stronghold" in Eastern Lebanon. I dunno where that could be. Apparently, this war won't be ending anytime soon. It may only spread, in fact...

: I wish it hadn't actually been a good day to read Seymour Hersh's Ner Yorker article about the US using the Israeli attacks on Hezballah as a model for attack on Iran.

I thought the cease-fire on the Israeli side was on condition that Hezbollah didn't re-supply weapons.. They said from the beginning they'lll respect the cease-fire if they don't see Hezbollah smuggle in weapons from Syria. I wonder if it has something to do with that.

Yes, it was to cut the suppy line of new weapon shipments. One Israeli dead, two injured, 3 Hezbollah dead, three injured.

exactly, Israel made it clear from the beginning that it would do what is necessary if Hezbollah continues to resupply. This is something which Unifl forces are supposed to be preventing from happening. I find the focus on Israel's supposed 'violations' interesting, why are you not focusing on the violationsof the un resolution of Lebanon/Hizbollah? Hizbollah has stated that they will not disarm, Lebanon has stated it will not disarm Hizbollah. The countries who are deploying soldiers to UNIFL are saying Israel should not be involved at all (in defending its own borders???).

Now how does that help the state of affairs?

hizbullah did not reply to this attack...weapons of hizbullah will just disappear. lebanon can't disarm hizbullah it will simply and directly lead to the civil war in lebanon. or maybe that is excatly what israel and states want
lebanese and UN forces on the border what else do they want?!?!?!
: hizbullah's weapons are not in force anymore (unless they are needed of course). this all sucks. i hope isreal is not completly out of her mind and will not strike again.
