I have a foot stuck in my ribs.....and it is sooo uncomfortable. I have had kicks up there for awhile...but this is the first time I have noticed it being really in there...baby needs to wake up! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

LOL, you poor thing. With DS, I would end up pushing his foot back. I probably looked like a loon, frantically pushing on the top of my huge belly to get that foot back where it belonged. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

oooo, that doesn't sound pleasant. My mom said I did that to her, and I'm so sorry I did.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br>
Mine has had her back to my navel for a few days now, and it feels like she's dancing on my internal organs. Weird. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">:

This little one loves sticking her feet up in my ribs. When I was pregnant with DS, that was my biggest complaint, too. A few weeks before he was born, DP and I went to see a movie and the entire time, he had his feet jammed in my right ribcage. OUCH!!! It drove me batty.

Oh, my DS just loved to do that! I used to have to straighten up and shove my fingers up under my ribs to try to push his little foot out- it is a pain. I haven't had a foot caught in the ribs yet with this one, but she has been kicking up pretty high so far. She is much more active than DS was at this point and I fear the activity when I'm a little further along. She also prefers to jab my upper right side as opposed to DS's upper left kicking.

<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> Yes. At least it is head down! That is a good way to look at it <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">.<br>
--Now if I can just get it out of that posterior postition we will be all set (both of the others were posterior the whole time up until delivery <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">: )<br><br><br>
It moved fairly quickly (this one does not like to sit still for very long..(thank goodness!).don't remember that with the other ones..) but it does remind me of what is to come more often as it gets bigger!

the foot is back. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue"><br><br><br>
okay, I am going to assume that for whatever reason we are big enough to now reach my ribs quite easily and this is going to be an ongoing thing from now on....this happened with my dd as well...same side and everything...just don't recall it happening this early.

I know that feeling well too <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> . Up until recently I was getting kicked in my cervix quite constantly too! I feel for you, it is not fun.<br><br>
I still get really weird movements (and rather constant) in that area though....even though it is head down...not sure if it is hands or what..but still highly uncomfortable. I think that my uterus is in a strange position because I am still getting a TON of pressure in my bum. Not pleasant at all...I think it might be having hiccups and so I get pushed in my ribs and in my rear....over and over and over and over. Lovely. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue">

<div style="font-style:italic;">I get hands up there! *sigh* She's breech right now, and likes to stomp on my cervix!</div>

my baby is transverse so she either sits on my bladder (NOT fun) or yesterday she rolled all the way over (THAT was the weirdest feeling) and decided my bladder made a better pillow!<br><br>
my dd#1 was breech but had one foot stuck above her head so i had a head AND a foot in my rib, and my cervex was constantly kicked.....it really sucked!

OOOh, I remember that! My twins were transverse and it always felt like the one on the top was trying to push the other one out! I think my bladder barely held an ounce towards the end because of how crushed it was!
