Okay, I am 40 +1 day today. It hurts to sit. I can stand or lie down, but I cannot sit. This is fine for the weekend and the holidays, but come Monday, as I am at a new job, and have no vacay or maternity leave (just disability), this will NOT WORK. I am a programmer so I basically have to sit. I do have a desk that will move so I can stand, but that won't work for eight hours. Cry. I am just not sure what to do. I have been at 3+ cm dilated and 0 position for two weeks and nothing is happening. Any ideas on how to make sitting easier?

What part hurts? Will a donut pillow under your bum ease some of the pain? Or sitting on a nursing pillow?

An exercise/birth ball has helped me a lot and can easily double as a chair (even for non-pregos!) at the office. Maybe that would help!

The exercise ball has saved my crotch on more than one occasion! I highly recommend finding one for your office.
