that in less than a week, I would be nursing a 3 year old
:. I haven't been around this forum for some time, but its the only place where I can find other mothers nursing babes this age. I can't believe we are here. She initially weaned when I was pregnant with ds, when my supply diminished, and after he was born she asked to nurse a couple times and didn't seem to remember how to latch on. She continued to ask to nurse on and off, sometimes latching correctly but never getting milk, and sometimes not latching correctly. At some point, though, she latched on correctly, and styed latched on long enough to get a letdown, and we have been tandem nursing for over a year now. She had been done nursing for several months when she opted to continue nursing, and of course I was elated. She loves nursing, and she loves nursing every single time her brother does. And every so often, when she is nursing, I can see right through her toddler size body and into the baby she once was. Its delightful.
Anyway, thanks so much for understanding!!!
