sorry TMI info ahead

can you have a yeast infection even though u dont have the 'white curdlike' discharge?
i'm *so* itchy it's not even funny. it hurts it itches so bad..the whole vulval (is that a word?) area. i cant sleep

i tried the garlic for 3or 4 days, did the yogurt, did the probiotics and still..
i finally bought some monistat cream and it's lessened the itch but hasnt made it go away and i'm going insane

my midwife appt is still 5 days away --should i just call my doctor? i really dont want to go but i've never had a yeast infection and am worried about doing the monistat suppositories without a 'real' diagnosis..(wouldnt have been so worried if i wasnt pregnant)

could it be anything else?

I was just about to post an identical question! I'm off to the Walgreen's.can't.take.it.anymore. Let us know what works for you I do tend to think it is yeast. I just finished 14 day run of antibiotics for pneumonia that had spread to my heart.

Did you get a "kit" that had cream for the external area? I've only ever had this one other time and the external cream was the greatest thing...ever.

Yes, you can. I on occasion will get these right before my period. It is like almost a yeast infection. If I do it several months in a row I go get Diflican (SP) . I have issues with the cream that they put in Monistat type products.

*ahem* Hello!

I haven't had this issue for a while (knock on wood) but it has been known to happen. I found a great homeopathic cream sold at drug stores called Vagi-Gard that did the trick instantly.

Also, if you do have a YI, try their Yeast-Gard product, I've used that and had immediate relief as well.

Lake Consumer Products - Yeast-Gard and Vagi-Gard

Good luck!
