DH and I have accepted a referral of a beautiful baby girl!
We are thrilled, if a little stunned. It came many, many months sooner than we were expecting, so we are scrambling a bit, but it's a wonderful feeling. Now we settle in for the long wait for travel dates.

travel dates could come tomorrow or in 2 months. We could get 1 month's notice or 1 week's notice. We are doing one 6 week trip instead of 2. Our future daughter is from the same babyhouse as our ds, so everyone there is really looking forward to seeing him again. Also, my mom will be coming with us to help. We can't WAIT to leave.

Wow, I didn't realize that you got to travel so quickly. After referral from Korea, the average wait is 4-6 months! But, we only have to be in country for 3 days, although we are planning on staying about 2 weeks. That is really neat that you get to go back to the same babyhouse with your son--I imagine that adds an extra specialness to the whole event.
