We went to the beach this weekend and I got in the pool. This is the first pregnancy I've gotten in a pool.

It was great! It relaxed me so much. What sucked was getting out of of the pool. I had to fight really hard not to fall down. My legs didn't want to support all the weight again. Going from really light to super heavy and my center of balance being way off, did not make for easy land walking.

I also had a hard time floating or anything other than just standing in the water. It was all I needed.

I did a lot of walking too. It was cold and really windy while there so we didn't spend any time down on the beach, which made me kinda sad.

This baby dropped a lot more too. My mom even noticed how much lower she was from one morning to the evening of one day.

It feels so great being home now. Those beds were far from comfortable. Imagine my 6'6" dh, my 2 year old and my pregnant self all stuffed into a double bed! Every morning I woke up with a stiff back that hurt so bad.

I got in the pool some at the very end of my pg with dd -- it was heavenly!!! But yes, it did totally suck going back to gravity . Another thing I figured out is that the water lifted my belly off my bladder some, and then when I got out of the pool it was suddenly a bathroom emergency . It happened every time, and after a while I came to expect it, but I hated getting out so much I would still stay in for as long as I could!

That is one thing about being due in early September... I may have to be at my biggest during the heat of the summer, but at least I can go to the pool! And I'm a teacher, so I'll have the summer off!
