Our turn comes in May when my ds turns 13. Time flies, doesn't it!?
Congrats to you both My son turned 13 this past July. The new ages and stages are really fun I think.
Thanks for all the nice wishes!

We decided to have a sleepover party for him - it was the only thing he was really excited about. So three of his friend's came over for dinner - had Chinese. Then we all went to Blockbuster and everyone got to pick something out. They did some sort of crazy scavenger hunt which they had all planned out together, some of the things they had to look for / do were a little crazy but funny. I was happy that they included my 9 year old son in this. Then they all got their sleeping bags set up in the basement. Our basement used to be a separate apartment so it has a kitchen and bathroom which was sooo cool for them to have! The fridge was stocked with juices and snacks. We set up a TV / playstation for the night. I have to say it was great fun and we really didn't hear them **that** much but they confessed to being up until 5:00!!!! Bagels in the morning and everyone went home! Oh, BTW, they woke up with blue faces, someone played a practical joke on them with the markers!!

Oh, and a topic in the car while driving to Blockbuster... girls!!!!! Shh, I wasn't supposed to be listening.
