Well, I couldn't find the other thread so I started a new one. How is everyone? I feel like everyone is drifting off. I am going strong in school and it is stressful and not bad all at the same time. I am excited to be in design school. Now, I am getting into the fun stuff.
Elijah is sitting up pretty good now. I added a picture in the link in my sig. As my sig tells, he grabs EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING. It is cute and annoying at the same time. It really doesn't bother me so much unless I am trying to eat I have 4 friend's who are pregnant now. It seems everywhere I look there are LOTS of pregnant women. Sometimes it makes me miss being pregnant... other times I am glad I am not. I think AF is going to return soon. I got the signs today that she maybe coming to visit in a couple of weeks : Maybe not but probably so. Oh well. Whats up with you other mama's and how are the little ones coming along?

DD is a grabber too! Nothing is safe.... She's very interested in whatever we are drinking, especially. Not mobile yet, but desperatly wants to be, you can see her working so hard to figure out how to get her toy thats just out of reach! New babbling sounds, and lots of squeals and laughter!

My AF came last week Now I have one more thing to worry about! It had a severe effect on my milk supply, scary, but as soon as AF left, milk came back to normal.

Little miss is sick and not happy...... hope she feels better soon....although she is 5 months and just barely getting a cold! I have a friend whose 3.5 month has already gotten a few. She grabs everything to......now I have to watch what's on the floor. :LOL She'll sit up by herself (in my lap so there's something against her but) but not completely by herself. She's pretty happy about that. :LOL

Last night was interesting. DD woke up fussing wanting to eat. I know her habits and knew everything was ok. DH on the other hand flipped! He thought she was having an apnea attack. He freaked out, grabbed her out of the bed, and scared the daylights out of her so she was squealing. Poor baby. He didn't realize she was fine til he calmed down (note: he has severe sleep apnea so his worst fear is she will too). Poor guy, he was so upset he was convinced she needed her own bed (keep in mind this was at 4:30 am.,...no logic then). I pointed out that had it been a sleep apnea episode (which she has not shown any sign of) sleeping in her own bed would be bad for her since we wouldn't be right there to know what was going on. He grumbled something and concluded I was going to roll over on her. :LOL Oy!

DD can sit up on her own for semi-long periods, at least 30 seconds, longer if she really entertained (shadows on the wall, watching the dog, chewing a finger) She bends in half reach something in front of her (then winds up doing a slow face plant and sticks her legs back so shes on her tummy, not sure if she realises she doing it!). She will fall over if shes trying to reach for somehting too hard, but usually sticks out an arm...unless shes falling backwards, then mom or dad is there to catch her! Cant wait to be able to roll a ball back and forth....

Elijah was sick last week. OMM, I know what you're going through. I really thought that because I EBF, he wouldn't get sick. I hope your DD feels better soon. Ds is already back to normal.

So, AF has a negative effect on milk supply? You don't have to supplement do you? Your DD still was able to get enough to eat, right? I am really worried about this eventhough AF hasn't returned yet (but I suspect will soon).

Áine is going to be 7months tomorrow. I can't believe how big she's getting. She can sit up for about 30 second periods too sometimes. She's not mobile yet, but this morning I was laying on the floor next to her and she was pushing against my leg and scootching forward. She's been drooling like crazy but doesn't have teeth yet. I don't think she'll be getting any for at least a month. She's still the happiest baby on earth, everyone is always commenting on it.

What are the babies going to be for Halloween? Áine is going to be a pumpkin at the request of her big brother. He said "baby punkin patch!"

Here she is looking pitiful with pink eye.

Well, it sure did for me. I heard from others on the breastfeeding forum that it may change as time goes on, also that AF might go away again. DD never seemed hungry or unwell, but I was sure worried. I was drinking Mothers Milk herbal tea (and WATER, lots of water) all the time, eating oatmeal, napping with DD, everything I could. In one unfortunate moment of desperation and fear, I offered a bottle of formula. : Poor baby, she only had about an ounce but had a tummy ache afterwards. Thats not advised though, as it could lead to even less milk production. As soon as my cycle endd, milk production was back up where it was! I am pumping and rebuilding my stash just in case. Next month I will be prepared with more teas and calcium/magnesium supplements...

I can't believe 1/2 a year has gone by already. 6 more months and he will be a year. Last night, I had a dream he was all grown up and I missed the whole thing. He went from being a baby to an adult overnight!!! I was so sad because I missed everything. I was glad he was still a baby when I woke up
Well, I am tired ....

DD is finally over her cold. It took a bit of time and I thought she'd be over it sooner than she was but alas it's finally happened! She has two teeth now!!! Well almost. :LOL They are broken through enough that when she's gnawing on my finger it's sharp enough to make me pull my finger away. You can see them too. I'm sad but happy all at the same time. This is proff she's growing up! :LOL I had a dream the other night that she went from rolling over to sitting up (pulling herself up and everything) to walking within a week. Then last night I had a dream she was about 5 and walking and running and jumping. It made me sad even in my dream. Oh well, it's inevitable! :LOL She's nice and fat right now too. I don't know how much she weighs since WIC here won't weigh her until December (in Idaho it was every month...not sure why it isn't here). She was in a dress for 6-12 months yesterday and it fits her perfectly! In about two weeks I won't be able to do the top button up on it. :LOL Gotta love double chins! :LOL

It's already the end of October! I can't believe it. I'm glad I'm not the only one that is sad to see ds growing up so quickly! Dh gets happy when he sees how fast he is growing - I think he is really looking forward to all the interaction you have in the toddler years. I love baby time though. It's so awesome.

Took Asher to have him weighed on Friday, and the scale didn't even register him! He is a big boy, 24 lbs 6 oz. He is wearing some 9 month, some 12 month clothes. I'm bummed out because I can't find footed sleepers that aren't flame retardant after 9 months. : I find that super irritating, but found out that they sell them in England. My family travels there frequently, so I am excited to get some footed sleepers!

Asher is getting good at sitting up, can balance himself for quite a period of time now. I'm so proud of him. I know he will love it, and so will I, when he gets really good at it. He no longer face plants forward when he reaches for something in front of him now.

And the baby calls ....

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted! It's crazy how busy life has gotten these days. I used to be able to spend hours at a time on MDC, now I'm lucky if I sign in once a week. Katelynn is 4 1/2 months old and the size of a 9 month old, according to my ped. She's 17 lbs and 27 1/2 inches. She's rolling all over the place. It's fun to watch her roll all the way across the room to get to something that interests her. The other day she rolled over to this huge pumpkin that we had in the living room. The next thing I knew she was making this weird sound and I looked and she was sucking on the side of the pumpkin, it was like 8 times the size of her head. It was really funny. She's always laughing and squealing. She loves to sit and stand up using my hands to help her balance. No teeth yet, but she's showing some signs that they might be appearing soon. Pretty much all of her hair has fallen out, so she's totally bald. And she's just discovered her toes, so that keeps her occupied for a good 20 minutes at a time. I just love looking into her big smiling, blue eyes. She is such a joy. I'm glad to hear that all of your babies are doing well. I'm soooo not looking forward to the return of AF, hopefully it'll hold off a bit longer. DH and I are not using any BC and I'm getting nervous because I don't know how much longer AF will hold out...

just subbing... no time to really write bc we have a halloween party to go to now Dima is great and scooting like crazy all over the place. He is really into his toys these days: a mirror, beaded necklaces, wooden stacking cups, exploring the other kid's toys. He is also his big sister's biggest fan. Everything she does is just hilarious to him. I guess they are on the same humor wave length It is just adorable. Ok, well got to go. Hope everyone is well.

I keep losing the thread. Maybe we should post links to the new threads on the old ones.

Madalyn is growing so fast. She's been sitting up for awhile. Now she's up on her hands and knees rocking back and forth. Soon she's just going to take off. *sniff* She loves to grab things, too. She especially loves trying to get the phone when I am on it.

We did start solids the other day. We were eating and she got so mad and her little mouth was just going so fast. Dh gave ehr a bite and she quit crying and was so excited. So she's eats a bit at night when we do. Oh and she is the messiest eater I have ever seen.

I can't believe it's been 6 months! Sheesh! Where does the time go?
