after my grandma died (3 yrs ago) I was actually really worried about being visited by her as we were really close. I worried as I walked through her house at night that I might see her, I was scared to dream for a long time. I'm usually very creeped out by reading ghost stories.

This morning I was up at 5am trying to figure out what is wrong with my eye, posting on here. I was sitting at my laptop in the living room and I heard some soft footsteps and the sounds of fabric rustling, like someone was walking by the coat hung on the dining room chair. I thought I woke up my daughter but no one was there and she was in her bed.

I didn't feel odd or scared but I felt strongly the presence of a little girl.

After a while ds woke up since I had gotten out of bed and I brought him in the living room with me while I read responses on MDC. After a while from the same area in the dining room I heard a breathy "Mommy?" that sounded like a little girl. Again, thinking it was my daughter I got up to find her and she was still in bed.

I wasn't every scared but I don't think I'd enjoy seeing the apparition.

Have you had experiences like that?

I saw a ghost recently. We were in England in a very old building and I saw a man, I wasn't scared either. Turns out it's pretty common in that particular building.

Is your house old?

Great...I just read this before going to bed. LOL. I never used to be afraid of ghostly things...until I moved in this bldg. I've had so many things happen here.

If it's bothering you, I would do a cleansing.

I have ghosts here that make noise occasionally. I just flat out ask them what it is they need, and tell them that if they need something from me they need to make themselves clearer. : : One of them was rattling chains (no, seriously...we have an indoor swing hanging on chains) the day my mother was supposed to arrive, I just said outloud "yes, I know you're aware mom is coming, if you have no other business with me, please cease and desist."

Just talk to her, ask her what she needs/wants. *shrug*

My step-father visited me a day or two after he died. No visual, just a hand on my cheek, and I knew it was him. Not scary at all, in fact it was quite comforting.
