Well my DD used to tantrum if DH and I hugged or another child touched me. She doesn't do that anymore (she's 3 1/2) but she doesn't really like it either. DD has sensory issues with touch and I have often wondered if it upsets her because touch bothers her in general, even if she's not the one being touched.
I'm sure it will pass. Even with DD it has improved dramtically.
My children all went through the same thing. The baby is that way now, if I pick someone else up and she see's it she starts crying and reaches for me(she's only 6 months old) I think it's something taht all children just do. My son has outgrown it but the girls are at that stage now.
My DD is 14.5 months and has been doing this with DH and I for a little while now. We call her the "Sibling Patrol" b/c we joke that whenever we get affectionate, she shows up wanting me! Guess she's not ready to share us with a new baby yet, lol!
