i don't have time right now to type up my whole bith story. it was sooo easy though! the only hard part was trying to keep from pushing to i wouldn't tear (and i didn't - not even a skid mark!). the labor was easy. i felt in control the whole time which i totally didn't expect. i feel great now! i managed 2nd stage complately on my own, and even though peter was gonna catch him, he shot out sooo fast that evryone there gasped and jumped started and i scooped him out of the water. i feel like i could do it again right away. he is nursing good after a little bit of trouble at first (i think it was from starting out in front of a crowd. lol). he's the most perfect beautiful baby in the whole world. http://photos.yahoo.com/aja_belly there's even a pic of me eating placenta. i'm drying the rest for capsules.

he was 7 lbs 7 oz, 19 3/4 inches with a 13.5 inch head. he has light blonde hair and bright blue eyes.

oh aja, im so happy for you!! it sounds like you had a wonderful birth
i love the nursing pics, they actually brought tears to my eyes, remembering my dd's first nursings... we are planning to dry the placenta as well. Did you have a bite due to bleeding, or just because? I'm just curious... blessings to you and your beautiful family mama

Wow congrats!!!
Look at his little tushie!!!
And how he loves the boob. The nursing pictures are da bomb.
You know with all of these births I'm forgetting who had planned what, etc. Even though I know all the names and reply to you all daily, when you all give birth it's like "O.K. what were they doing yesterday again!?" lol!!!
How wonderful for you that you had a spectacular birth experience. Having him in the water and then with the warm wet towel over both of you must have been really wonderful for the baby (not to mention the two of you together).
Enjoy!!!

Yay Aja and welcome Jet!!

I love the pictorial, especially his first nursing - isn't it amazing that they know exactly what to do?

I am so happy that you had such an easy birth experience, too - what a great start you two are off to

Great job, mama!! He is simply beautiful. Enjoy him and all his wonderful newborn-ness
