Hi,

I've been experiencing joint pain for several weeks (mostly in my knees, low back, and shoulders) and am wondering if it could be related to some sort of nutritional deficiency related to BFing? Anyone had/ heard of this?

thanks in advance.

:

Have you had your thyroid checked? Joint pain can be a side effect of thyroid issues, and your thyroid can get out of whack from pregnancy (post partum thyroiditis).

Another suggestion to me when I was having joint pain was to make sure you are well hydrated. Nursing takes a lot of liquid out of us, and that can leave us dehydrated. Your joints need to be well lubricated to work.
