I am ready to order DS some new shoes...like today! So I have some questions.

1 - Does anyone have a coupon code for JoShoes? Like with their referral program or anything? Willing to share?

2 - I am ordering a basic pair and a pair of sandals. I'm thinking I need to get some PUL or foam in them for the water resistant factor. Do you get either of these in your JoShoes? If so, which one and why? (I have never ordered from JoShoes before.) We live in FL. It rains a lot during summer afternoons, so the ground may be wet. So I want to protect the shoes and his feet from getting real wet.

3 - Also, please tell me why you like or dislike JoShoes. Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have a coupon code. We have loved the two pairs of joshoes we have had. They are always really cute and have held up well. We got both pairs with the pul and it worked well. I also recommend the toe patch option.

we have had PUL in all of our joshoes. the kids wear joshoes all of the time so we do sometimes walk across wet ground. obviously it wouldn't help much if they were walking through standing water, but it has always kept their feet dry.

I also recommend the tip toes. that is the first part of the shoes to wear out (and the only part on ours, btw) and the tip toes really prevent it. my 4yo is a toe dragger and he hasn't worn through his tip toes yet after 8 months of daily wear.

We have Joshoes and love them!
In the winter we get fleece-lined and from now on, we'll be getting PUL or foam in every pair (winters in KY are dry so we only need water-resistance in summer, but we're in Michigan now with snow!) I don't think it really matters whether you get PUL or foam. I'd get PUL for a really little-- like under 2 yr. old, because while the foam is very thin, it does add a little thickness and I think the double layer leather soles are thick enough. We have a pair with tip-toes but I don't think they're necessary for my 4.5 yr. old, but who knows. He's been wearing the same pair since January and they're in great shape still. He's actually about to outgrow them (the 3-4 yr. size) and we'll be able to pass them down to his little brother. They have the foam, which may be why they held up so well-- his other pair got holes in the seams (at the heels) after about 3-4 mos. of every day, outdoor and indoor wear. But it could just be that they fit better. Now that he has outgrown 3-4 yr. soft soles Joshoes are the only option for him, which is fine because they're great, cute, affordable, durable shoes, and we'll be buyin a few pairs a year until he outgrows the biggest size. My 18 mo. old is in Pediped sandals now but he'll be wearing some cozy Joboots all winter.

Yay! So that means I get a 5% discount, right? And then it adds people to your referral list, right?
