11 lbs 5 oz

Was scheduled for induction due to borderline high blood pressure and protien in urine.
Showed up at induction appointment 4cms and in active labor.

Stage 1 was wonderful and perfect and easy! Was surprised to find I was 10cms and and ready to push.

Pushing out an 11lb baby however, was very difficult.

He also was stuck for a moment. A direct quote from the OB: "talk about a shoulder distocia, that was a full body distocia." He would have had to go to the nicu, but the isolette they brought to transfer him was broken and by the time they futzed and got another one, the nicu doc was like "never mind, he's stabilized enough he can just stay here!!!"

Overall a perfect day!

I feel like superwoman!!!
