I joined a while ago, and just lurk. I have to admit that some of the drama on some forums made me a little nervous. But I think it's time I finally get over it and just post already.

Anyway- first post- hello! I'm a wahm to 2, thing 1 is a homeschooled 6-year-old, and thing 2 is my three-year old-nursling.

I look forward to making some friends.

Masih_Mama, I love the quote! I've been feeling a little put upon lately and that really pointed me in a better direction. (And, I hear you on the "drama". It can be overwhelming sometimes.) Welcome!

Yes, it can be dramatic at times, but once you get used to things you may find it entertaining. Don't let is discourage you though! Some forums are much more mellow, support & info based primarily.

Hi TurtleMom! Thanks for the welcome. I really like your user name. I'm glad my quote was helpful to you. I was originally looking for another Maya Angelou quote, but I stumbled across that one, and thought that it would be a good reminder for me.
