Hi mamas, it's 7am. I woke up at around 6am and got up at 6:30 since I couldn't fall back asleep. So, I thought I'd get this week's chatter going.

How's everyone feeling? I'm doing pretty good. Yesterday I was feeling pretty "blah", headache, tired, grouchy, etc. But I felt better later on in the day.

My brother's B-day is today, and mine is coming up Friday, so we had a little get together at my mom's yesterday. We visited, ate burgers and hot dogs, had cake and ice cream. We had some relatives visiting from out of state, and DS and some of his second cousins swam and swam. I mean, they swam for about an hour and a half. Then, later Jakob decided to try to go back in with his clothes on and we ended up going back in for another 45 minutes. He absolutely loves the water.

My glucose test is coming up soon, just 3 1/2 weeks away. So last night's cake and ice cream is my last sugary indulgence until I get the test. It's going to be hard, because I've been craving it lately. But my motivation to stay away from the whole "borderline gestational diabetes" situation is much stronger than my cravings.

My house is a pig-sty! Yikes, I really need to get cleaning. Hopefully I will get back on track with it starting today. I've got to do some laundry this morning so DH has clothes for work...

good morning...I am up as well...baby is eating her toast and I have been surfing...she's going through a funny stage where she wants to do everything anyone else is doing...

here is an example...

dd "I want icecream"(breakfast )
me" well I want toast"
dd "I want toast too"
me "do you want butter"
dd "no"
Me"I want butter on my toast"
dd "I want butter on my toast too"

this is how she is constantly...we have figured out how to really work it to our advantage....we actually can get her into her car seat without a struggle...her sister says "I will sit in the car seat" and she goes "I sit in car seat too" and gets in all by herself! It will be fun while it lasts

I cant wait to have another of these wonderful fun little people in the house!

April the birthday celebration sounds like it was fun. Good luck with the glucose test.

and mmm i want an organic fruits/veggies co-op. But a friend had trouble with the local co-op so i'm not going to try it out !

We had playgroup today, we were gone from 11 till 3. I think I found out the answer to Mondays. Playdates! Maybe not necessarly playGROUP because with all the kids together my kids have trouble even with ones that htey get along with well when it is just them. But definitly playdates.

As for the rest of the week, tommorow theres a morning meeting but i'm not sure we can make it - too early. I have a midwife appointment in the evening & a chiropractor appointment too. Wednesday we're probably goin to drive up north about an hour & a half to visit with my friend. She moved into her house a couple of months ago & we haven't been to see it yet. She's having a baby anytime now, so it would be nice for me to know how to drive to her house BEFORE she goes into labor!! I'm sure i'll work Friday, and Saturday is my husbands company's work picnic. It sounds like it will be a LOT of fun. They go all out! (Big company).
