Argh -- I just have to get this out, even though I know you guys can't fix the problem for me.<br><br>
I'm a WAH editor, and today is publication day. I was ahead of schedule, going along perfectly smoothly, and then today I hit a snag when I started having computer problems. The same program that has worked flawlessly every other time just decided to conk out on the VERY LAST STEP of the publication process. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">:<br><br>
My (very helpful) coworker and I have spent all day doing everything we can think of to fix it and it's not working, and I've had to spend the whole morning practically ignoring my sweet little boy. I usually don't work while he's awake because I don't want to be one of those "not now honey" mamas, but it couldn't be helped today, and we're all having a bit of a meltdown!<br><br>
Time is ticking, and I've never missed a deadline, and it frustrates me SO much that I'll probably miss this one not because the work wasn't finished but because of some stupid technical difficulty. Another coworker was finally able to get the problem to resolve on his computer, and I'm officially published and get to take the rest of the day off! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"> DS is napping, so I think I'll get a glass of iced tea and chill out in the backyard with a crossword puzzle for a while.<br><br>
