Hi,
My name is Nicole.
Dh and I were charting to avoid and I misinterpruted my fertility signals and wala here we are....Having a hard time really accepting it but a new life is always wonderful and I know we will be taken care of.
I was going to wait to post but hoped it would help as part of the acceptance process.
This my 7th pg. I have had 2 m/c so if this pg goes well than it will make baby #5.
We are due mid-january.
I called my midwife today and she is going to be gone in january. We have had her through all of our pregnancy's. The last two births we have had a second midwife there and she is wonderful, I called her and she is available and will work with us cost wise so that is a good thing but I still can't imagine this whole process w/out Jenny.
We will be using hypnobirthing as that is the method I have always used and it is AWESOME!!!!!!
So hello everyone and I am looking forward to our journey together.

big hugs! an unexpected turn of events can sometimes be a real blessing. i'm glad you found a midwife that you like - even if it's not your beloved midwife from your first pgs

Nicole-there's a chance I'm like 5 weeks off on my dates because I think I had a miscarriage but could be totally wrong. If I am wrong them my midwife will be gone too and I will be totally screwed! I don't have a back up plan so for now I'm convincing myself and this baby that we are right on time. Anyway, welcome! This is number 5 for me as well. I was also charting to avoid the month that I had my m/c (cycle just before this one)and I still don't know how it happened. Seems like it was a chemical pregnancy. I bled a week after the faint test, then we decided we actually did want to have one but would wait until May to TTC. That clearly didn't happen and we were pretty shocked when the BFP smacked us in the face and we can't even remember doing the BD to make this little one, that's no fun!! I do feel like I'm in the 6 weeks range so I'm not sweating it...yet
