I just got my BFP today - I was dying to test even though my luteal phase is generally longer. I hope it sticks!!!!

My EDD by FF is Dec 25th! Can anyone give me some ideas of creative ways to tell DH. Doesn't have to be Christmas related!

Congrats on the BFP. I have no suggestions... My 'creative' way was to run into the other room with the stick, somewhere between crying and shock

OMG!!! kztmom!!!! you got your BFP!!! I am so happy for you. My sister found out she was pregnant on Christmas one year so...she wrapped the test up and gave it to her DH. He was like,"what is this????"....lol

MaerynPearl - your suggestion was hilarious, but unfortunately, DH can't figure out how to work his text messaging, so it wouldn't have worked...

MyZymurgy and Skeeter - I considered wrapping up the test in Christmas wrapping, but the wrapping paper was in our bedroom where dh was napping and I didn't want to wake him, because I really couldn't wait much longer!

I wasn't too creative with telling DH, I did something that I had heard someone do a while ago. I put a hamburger bun in the oven, and when DH woke up from his nap, he asked me if I was going to the gym. I said that I couldn't as I was baking something in the oven and to go take a peek at it to make sure it wasn't burning. He took a look and then just asked me why there was a hamburger bun in the oven and didn't get it. So I just handed him the test and said this is why.

NinaUK - congratulations on your BFP! So exciting! I'm wondering what it will be like to have a baby right in the middle of holiday seasons, and what birthdays celebrations will be like in the future....
