Okay I thought the craving stage was done with, but the last 2 days I have wanted chocolate milk like crazy!!! Now I know that in itself doesn't sound wierd, but the wierd part is that I can't drink it from a glass or carton (i can but it doesn't satisfy this craving) -I have to drink it from a little carton, out of a straw. it can't be from a glass with a straw either.......How obscure is that??
I also have a bad case of the whoopsies - I am terribly clumsy all of a sudden - and not from balance or gravity etc - I keep knocking things over and just being all around spastic. Then i get mad cuz I have to pick up what I've knocked over and can't bend over to do so! :-(
Arg.....anyone else step into a twilight zone suddenly?

omg yes! I am SO clumsy the last couple of days. I work in a pet store so I have to unlock cages all the time and keep just dropping the keys constantly and running into people/things. It's pretty bad.
For me the uncontrollable craving is lemons. I have been eating and drinking lemons constantly. When I go to a restaurant, I request a bowl full of lemons so I can squeeze the whole thing into my water. It's delicious! Also iced milk. If it doesn't have tons of ice in it, it won't do.

Yes, on the clumsy!! But I've had 2 insanely clumsy pregnancies so far... with DS1 I used a sippy cup regularly. This time I use DS1's sippy cups I've only shattered 3 plates & 2 glasses this time so far, though, so doing much better!!

And YES on the chocolate milk. I know Horizon organic milk isn't the best but I crave that and soy milk, chocolate, straight out of the carton. And I don't even like soy milk! I bought it, tried a sip, and said "Eww, that tastes funky" but I couldn't stop going back to the fridge to drink more!!!

Mmmm. I went through a chocolate soymilk phase. And then through a chocolate cow milk phase, and I NEVER drink cow milk, it totally squicks me out by itself normally.

I am not craving chocolate milk, but I am SOOO wanting regular milk! I swear I could drink it all dang day long! Which isn't good seeing as I have a slight milk allergy - I'll get a sore that looks like a cold sore on my lip when I drink too much milk. I can eat all other dairy with no issues, but milk gets me if I drink too much. I've been trying not to drink TOO much, but I do drink at least a glass a day. I figure that if I am craving it this much, maybe there's somthing in it that my body is needing? Maybe I am needing more calcium, I dunno...

Not milk for me, but cereal! I have gone through a whole box of cereal in just a few days! : It's weird because this pregnancy I was all about the protein, I was craving eggs, meat etc. Now I don't want any of that stuff.

Oh and its 2 am and it's wide awake which is also weird.

I've been craving sweets lately, which I really haven't wanted much of through this pregnancy.

And anything in a take away cup with a straw and lots of ice. lmao
I've been hoarding them and using them for everything- from water to iced tea to orange juice. So I get your weird carton/straw fetish.

I wish I were craving healthy things, like salads and proteins, but it just ain't happening. I want homemade bread with butter, lots of butter, cookies, pie.... oh, gosh. It's bad. lol

And I've been wanting cereal, but can't settle on something at the grocery- because I want to get junky crap like fruity cheerios or something.

I wouldn't say I'm craving anything in particular, but I know when I want sweets, my body needs protein. Get thee hence to eggs, dairy, beans and meat!

Mine right now has been french fries, but not the kind you can get from any fast food. The greasy crunchy kind from hole in the wall burger joints with ranch dressing!

I understand your peculiarity w/the beverage. For some reason this pg I am all about drinking out of a straw. Almost always have ice in my water (or a least chilled) and quite often a slice of lemon. And it has to be fresh lemon, no bottled juice. Ick!
For a while I had an outrageous craving for chocolate milk. I still crave it, but haven't been indugling. But man, Hershey's extra dark chocolate syrup in whole milk, mmmmm!

Dairy queen and cereal...I can't get enough! I had DH go get me some dilly bars before he leaves town so I don't get stuck here at night with a killer craving.

I am also dropping everything that touches my hands. It is so irritating because I have to decide whether the object is important enough to strain my self and pick it up.

I also cannot type these days. I have to type things 4 or 5 times now to get it right...it's like I have dyslexic typing skills now.

Horribly clumsy - oh yes. I keep dropping things and then getting frustrated with myself, and having to assume the giraffe stance (legs spread wide) to pick it back up again.

Cravings, yeah. Radishes. Especially late at night. With lots and lots of salt. Mmmmmmmm. And also lots of ice. In anything I drink (except milk, and coffee) it has to have lots of ice in it. Preferably the crushed kind.

Oh thanks! That drove me straight to the frig for a tall glass of vanilla soy milk loaded with Ovaltine.

The entire family has been tearing through boxes of Cheerios lately. :

MMM Rootbeer and straws here too. I normally love rootbeer but it's actually hurting me to drink it but I want it. I had an amazing organic rootbeer at a school and I hadn't seen it before. Well I just saw an add for it at a local store. But it's not one we shop at and it's at least a half hour away.

And I'm extremely dyslexic right now. I'm reading posts as the weirdest things and have to double and triple check and read the responses before I even think of replying because of how I'm reading things.
