Overland Park covers a lot of area, so the commute could vary.
He would need to go through "The Triangle" - one of the bottlenecks in the metro area. However, I think KC area traffic is pretty light, compared to other places I have driven. While traffic can slow, it's rarely stop-n-go, as I experienced in my St. Louis commute.
